LFW: Content Writer

I read the 'What is this forum?' sticky at the top of the page and it appears this is allowed so I thought I'd give it a go...
I recently moved to the Salisbury area as a result of Mrs. FactoryBacked taking on a partnership at a vet practice. She reckons that spending my time acquiring an intimate knowledge of daytime TV, organising an immaculate iTunes library and teaching the dog to pretend to be a meerkat are not skills that will get me headhunted by a blue chip. So I am having to look for a job. I’ve no idea who she thinks will sort our iTunes out now but there you go.
I've spent the last five years writing content (blogs, news articles, website copy, e-commerce content, case studies, press releases, newsletters etc) for online publications and websites. It has allowed me to fund my various sojourns around the world as well as remaining flexible to the relentless relocation of a locum vet. I now wish to pursue writing on a full-time basis and I guess as a <shudder> career.
Ideally I would like to spend all day writing about cars but as that is unrealistic I will say that I am confident I can create compelling content around any topic. One of my previous roles involved writing a daily blog post for a firm which hired heating and air conditioning equipment. In a vain attempt to extricate myself from the unrelenting monotony of the task I chose to lubricate the dry subject matter with the addition of amusing, and occasionally cheeky, headlines for each article. The plan backfired when the headlines turned out to be quite a popular addition.
I understand the requirements of SEO when writing online content. I am also familiar with link building, social media strategy and engagement across various platforms as well as concepts such as affiliate marketing and split testing. I can also interpret analytical data and apply the findings a project.
My CV also says that I have ‘an ability to work quickly and accurately while working to a brief and observing any house style rules’.
I’m a complete geek when it comes to keeping up to date with the latest developments in digital marketing, the release of new platforms and applications and the evolution of social media.
I am reasonably creative and I can put together basic video edits and complete simple graphic design tasks using most popular tools.
If the role of 'Content Writer' is too niche then I should perhaps outline some of my other mad skillz which may be of interest to potential employers.

Six years spent living my dream while working at a privateer world rally team where I was responsible for the logistics, the purchasing, the parts sales, the stores, the accounts...
Two winter seasons spent working as a chalet b
h and chauffeur in uber-luxurious (£100k+ per week) chalets the French Alps.
Numerous summers spent fitting CAT5 and CAT6 data networks into schools and offices. I’ve also worked in data centres, have experience of pulling in fibre, testing and commissioning of wireless networks, installing audio visual equipment and carrying out site surveys.
I doubt I need to ice this cake but potential employers might also like to know that I am currently teaching myself how to crochet and I’m very tall so I am able to trim most hedges without the aid of a ladder.
I'm willing to travel for work but permanently relocation is probably out of the question as we've only just settled in the Salisbury area and are both keen to put down some roots.
So, whatever you’ve got available in the Salisbury / Pool / Bournemouth / Southampton area; I can do that, gis a job.
