Wheel wash for painted Carerra S alloys
Discussion
Give them a couple of coats of a durable wax. (I use Collinite 376) Then just use a good car shampoo and a microfibre glove to clean them - keep a separate bucket and glove specifically for this.
This initially involves taking the wheels off, but that also gives you a chance to coat the hub casing part of your discs and the faces that mate with the wheel with Optimol, which stops unsightly corrosion and means you can remove the wheels with ease later.
No doubt someone will be along in a moment to suggest using unicorn's urine at £100,000 a millilitre, but the above is simple and effective.

Take them off, give them a good clean (I like Valet Pro Bilberry) and then clay them with a mild clay and a good lube.
Wash and rinse again.
Dry with a MF.
Then wax them with a good wax as above - 2 coats - 3 if you have time.
This wax will last for 12 months with the right care and you can wash the wheels with a good wash (Megs Gold Class is what I use).
When the wheels are off its a good chance to wash the wheel arch out and give everything a good inspection.
I did this every 12 months and it took a full day to do it right, but the car looked so much better for it.
