Cayman R - Porsche Autocrossor alike?

Does anybody take part in amateur autocross in the UK?

I can see events in the USA where Cayman's race around cones etc and are typically days for just Porsche's.

I'd like to take part in something like the above where no real harm can be caused etc and it's not full of idiots in Corsa's trying to prove something.

I think you may be refering to Autosolo. Autocross in this country, at least, tends to be off road and dominated by very specialist vehicles.
