I'm not complaining, but did you really need to send one 3.5" sticker in an A4, card backed envelope? Surely it would be more sensible to have envelopes half the size?

Cardboard backed - it's a sticker and if it gets folded, it's no good.
A4 - no idea, A5s are cheaper to buy and cost less to post.
