New Vectra Ads
Discussion
Well, it couldn't be any worse than the Griff Rhys Jones ads, but....
Just seen the "Court Room Drama" ad with Ed Harris. In it he's singing the praises of the car as it is so forward thinking with such items as rain-sensing wipers.
The clincher in the trial appears to be the fact that the new Vectra also sports indicators that get louder the faster you go so you can hear them on a noisy motorway.
Would have been funnier if Vauxhall had Jeremy Clarkson in the dock for all the nasty things he said about the previous version.

Presumably necessary because the damn thing gets too loud at speed... those beautiful V8s and sports exhausts that they are putting in the new Vectra.
Personal opinion but I think the New Vectra ads have lost their way. They don't have me rushing out to see one. As for that courtroom thing, the message to me is that there is a significant problem with the car and they are already in court to try and clear their name! Maybe that's the point, Old Vectra = Significant problems, New Vectra = In court to prove it's good!
Sh1t advert, could have made it much better. They spent ££Millions developing a new car and £2.50 advertising it!
