Following Renault's Jarno Trulli putting in another poor performance during the race, (incidentily on the very last lap of the race he set the fastest 1st sector time before slowing for the rest of the lap ) he may be paid off early so Renault can get someone in to help them challenge BAR for 2nd in the constructors championship.

The options are :-

Test driver Frank Montagny - no experience
Former driver Alan McNish - not French
Jacque Villeneuve - gamble
Giancarlo Fisichella - expensive pay off to Sauber who use Villeneuve for the rest of the season?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

It seems the most action over a race weekend always takes place in the teams trailers, motorhomes and hospitality bars.

It does look like Trulli has lost the plot, and all this "you've wrecked my car and don't love me any more" stuff must have an effect on the team. I'm sure Flav will have a look at the drivers he manages and pick one of them.

Yes so is he trying to screw Flav for letting him go? If he is then good effort! If not, then it goes to prove what many of us always thought.

Ralf and Trulli at Toyota??? Now theres a highly motivated tough driver line-up with no problems on the horizon....NOT!!

No wonder they were desperate to hang onto Panis, just in case
