Hey, have you seen the price that S2's are fetching in the US. Have a look at TVR in USA pages, $18.000 $21.000. There is hope for us yet, give it another couple of years and it will be worth putting a couple in a container and selling them over there. I know it's not as easy as that, they are very good at sending stuff out but a devils own job to import stuff, particulary classic cars.

Yup wizzer, totally agree with you , as cars reach the 25 year old status , it's time to hang on to the S...
We all know that Europe , the Yanks , the Aussies love these quirky cars...

How many cars have gone to there death each year at a certain mr Dean ..
How many Ss are leaving these shores for good each year...

This is a no brainer for me , the poor mans tvr ,at these cheap prices at the moment the only way is S Or up ...

I haven't seen any actually sell in the USA, but the asking prices are very high. There are probably only a few (4 or 5) in the country, so it is a very exclusive club. The wedges are quite plentiful but don't seem to sell well, but maybe a V8 wedge would? The classics do seem to have a strong following and prices can be a bit silly.

I enjoyed the search and import project when I bought my S, and hope to do it again some day if someone offers me silly money for mine. Eventually it will be legal to bring a Griffith over, and I might have to hang on to that one.
