Free photo editing software

My old PC had something like "photo 9" (i think) but it blew up, ive got "gimp" (freebie), any suggestions what else I could try?

Paint.net is very nice to use - I prefer what you've already got however - it's far more powerful!

I suggest you try Nikons ViewNX2 ... just uploaded v 2.7.1 and performance improved

What camera do you use? Do you want to do full pixel level editing, or just quick tweaks?

I got this with my camera and it's what I use. I'm more than happy with it for my level of skill/ experience.
