Electrical gremlins - dials keep going off!

The last two times I took the Noble out - 4 weeks ago and then today - the same, strange electrical problem has happened.

Everything works fine for a period of time, then all of a sudden the electrics go off. All dials, indicators, brake lights, wipers, handbrake lights etc but NOT headlights, horn or stereo.

This is a bit of an issue as people can't tell if I am braking and I have no indicators to turn, plus no idea what RPM I'm doing!

I have discovered a new little nuance which is, if I turn the engine off and ignition off, then start the car again immediately it all seems to be working again. Then could all go off 5, 10, 15 minutes later...totally random.

Very odd, and it seems to be nothing to do with fuses as they are all fine and not loose.
Sometimes it just all flicks back on totally on its own and then can just go off again.

Could it be a loose earth? Or a loose wire somewhere?
I have no idea whe the main wires are that power all this, surely they must all be on the same circuit.

I am emailing Dave as he's the electrical genius, but has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?
