Loving the Manthey car

Anyone know the story with the 917?

Not seen one running those mirrors before, and unusual for a red salzburg car to be running anything other than No 23

Answering my own question, it appears to be this car driven by Gary Pearson at CLM last year

wonder if that means that Porsche motorsport will now allow them to be used in GT3 cup challenge.

Ades pic confirms it I think. Also, I was watching the teaser video from Porsche showing the car going around this test track and the calipers looked silver, sort of adds up now.
