I've been looking for some time for storage in and around the South Aberdeen, Montrose areas and have struggled to get anything suitable.

Finally I have found a place to rent at a reasonable rate but it's too large for just my cars. Anyone interested in sharing?

The place I've found is dry, wind and water tight, it is lockable and in a secure compound with locked main gates at the entrance. The access road is reasonable. There is a fresh water tank available for washing vehicles. The floor of the unit is concrete, the walls red brick and the roof asbestos.

Downside is there is no mains electric but the landlord can provide a generator on loan (free from what I gather??). There is no CCTV but the entrance is overlooked by nosey neighbours so not much will move in or out without being noticed and the owner/landlord lives close by.

The unit will hold around 8 cars spaced in such a way that all doors can be oped without touching the next vehicle, it could also be used for storing cars, motorhomes, caravan's, boaats, motorcycles, just about anything.

It's not going to be expensive either, a quick estimate I'd say £0-£40 per month each.

Interested? Let me know soon as the landlord is eager to get this place filled.

I don't want to be too specific yet as I've not signed the lease agreement, I've looked long and hard for something up to standard so don't want gazumpers getting in first. The landlord wants one tenant for the entire building and that person would sub-rent. I'll be that principal tenant.

Roughly it's near Montrose (DD10 post code). Hope that helps.

£30-40 per car/space, and I know it's cheap. I'm a car enthusiast and know how we generally get ripped off by landlords, I want to help others enjoy their hobby at a reasonable cost. It may creep up to £40-45, it will depend on how many slots I manage to rent out, the more filled, the cheaper they will be individually.

I've been extremely fortunate in the past and managed to get storage for my cars at an affordable price, no reason that I should now start to screw folk. I'm just Mr nice guy....

Good work for offering it out as i know a few people are looking for something similar but sadly too far for me to travel to be interested.

If anyone replies to this post regarding storing a car please do not specify the details of the vehicle or vehicles that you are planning on putting in storage. Also, please do not ask me where it is specifically, for obvious reasons I do not want the world and his dog to have access to the type of cars and exactly where they are stored.

Once I have established that enquirers are bona fida I will be more open, until then the answer will be 'sorry, not telling".

email me from my profile if you require more info.
