August 11, Warwick Retro and Classic Car Show.

Very pleasant day out last year, and they didn't seem to strict on the pre-1990 thing, definately some newer stuff there. Weather was pretty good, it did get a bit crowded.

For those that don't know Warwick it is very "cafe culture", ideal for car (and people) watching.

Mike, My S2 is no show car as a tad rough around the edges so is it still worth parking in the square (subject to room) or best to park in the car park and walk back? Never been before.

Reference this subject: "On a roll now........"

As I am not going to Europe this year I am interested to do loads of other events (ie one or more if I can get around to it!). It would be best to go to events where our fellow S's are involved, so perhaps we should have a sticky wickiy, etc'y for events with hyper-links listed.

Then as everyone's plans develop over the next few months, they can refer to the list to see where there are other S's.

...I nominate Mike as the originator, since he has found most of them so far...what do you think?

Its not that long until Shelsley Walsh Breakfast Club, 10th February . Maybe we can find out about events more east or south for S owners further afield.
It is only a 2 and half hour drive to Bournemouth from me and there is a classic car meeting on West Cliff once a month on a Sunday we could hi-jack/ join in with maybe.
Chips by the seaside would be good, oh and Porthcawl in South Wales 2 hours from me ( by motorway, or longer on the heads of the valleys road ) has a very nice little cafe on Rest Bay, both have cheap parking until the end of March.
Just dropping a few ideas for discussion here.
.
Headitted to apologise the Bournemouth thing is for pre 1983 vehicles only.... Sorry chaps and its only April to September, so I am informed.

That's a bit disappointing, Hyper-Link sounds far more exciting than that!

Another Potential, Pistonheads Sunday Service, are gathering interest for a TVR meeting at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster, for a photoshoot with a Vulcan aircraft, its on TVR Events and Meetings, with a lists you can add your details to, only one S on there at the moment GadgeS3C as far as I can see, no fixed date either yet.
I tried to create a link several times but have to admit muppetry

I see the S attendees is growing but also spotted our illustrious classic TVR guru, Steve Reid (The Gamekeeper) is also on the list so that might encourage a classic contingent.
