Surley someone on here has something faster accelerating than the F1 though. Possible candidates: bike engined 7 replica, ex-F1 track car, drag car anyone?...

The Callaway Corvette Sledgehammer could do 247mph or something. They're probably about 25k now from Yank Tank centres.

I reckon my integrale has to be up there, not straight line but as a car that you actually drive. I'd take the McLaren on

I also think the Ultimas would be quicker than the McLaren. Has anyone actually got a bike engined 7? I'm thinking of getting one next and could do with some opinions.

I'll put in a bid for faster than an F1 from 0-30. Audi RS2, standard build.

i have to current plans, one is to enter the World Cup Rally and the other is to finish off building a friends 7 with a a bike engine. It will be using all the pieces left over from his Westifled rebuild and i only require a chassis, bodywork, wishbones and triling arms. then i'm seriously thining of dropping a bike lump in there, ZX9R ninja and 'blade eninges are seriously cheap and the thouhgt of a redline at 12k and a sub 4 second time to 60 is sooo tempting.
SWMBO has control of the purse strings however.......

Fast is relative...

I believe you would have to ask what you are looking for, ie...

0-60(or 62) mph
top speed
fastest around a road course (where better handling helps)

Different cars for different types of fast... (all IMHO)
