RUF exhaust for 996 turbo.

I would love to know what a RUF silencer sounds like on a 996 turbo. I've driven one and have been disappointed with the sound. Porsche seems content to keep the beast of an engine quiet. A friend told me that the RUF exhaust may not be the loudest but has the best quality of sound across the rev range (deep and basey in noise). Has anyone heard one on the 996 turbo? What do people think of RUF products in general? I'd be interested to find out.

Have to agree on the sound of the 996 TT, mine is way to quiet for my liking.

I had a C4 with the porsche sports exhaust and it sounded great, Porsche don't do a sports exhaust for the TT which is a real shame.

Don't think you can gowrong with RUF products,it should sound fantastic.

Turbo's are always very quiet, relatively. I have a TechArt exhaust (muffler bypass) on my turbo and it sounds great

UV got any further info on the exhaust for me, cost, BHP increase etc....
