I just put my hands on an old invoice for a silicon hose I used when I did my V8S rebuild from the AFM to the Plenum.
It was a Samco 80 to 70mm straight reducer bought from Merlin Motorsport for £15.62 ex vat.
Stock code SR80-70
Corresponding clips are SSHC-70-90 and SSHC-80-100 £1.65 ex vat each

Edit - they don't do the big size anymore but I think you will be OK with 2 of the smaller size.

All at 2011 prices.

Needed slight trimming and a little 'persuasion' to fit but a million times better than the original scabby tube.

Added to useful links.

Hi Chris

another option. I got one from RPI Engineering

clicky

Car's not enjoying the (cost saving) extended lay-up. Always starts up first turn but ticks over high and dies when pressing accelerator. It badly needs to get out!

Did you have to cut that down?
I did see that but as it is it was a mile too long for mine and I wasn't sure if it would shorten.

Hi Chris
I didn't have to cut it down. It squeezed together enough to be able work it over the mouth of the plenum.

My afm must have been setup differently to yours - my plenum and afm were only about 25mm apart.
