Not sure RE events but I can't imagine there would be much given how poor the weather is. Currently it's lashing down.

Some good lanes over that way but I'd be careful how you plan them as I'd expect a few to be flooded especially in the Elise...

As others have written, the rain is really coming down - and has been since Christmas Eve.

If the weather is half-way decent you could pop in to Shelsley Walsh for a New Year's Day walk of the course, or just a top fry-up.
