Seasons Greatingsto all Porker lovers

Have just mannaged to secure one of the last Oakley Sequential gear shifters to fit on my 997 GT3RS as this is not a DIY hobby fit was wondering if anyone could recommend a company who could fit this unit - preferably in the South East.
many thanks
and best wishes

JZM recently fitted a sequential box to a 997.2 RS... works well and have seen it being used at Spa with no problems.

Can't Oakley Design fit it for you? I believe they're near Colchester, Essex.

Was looking into this the other day. Doesn't this setup kill the syncro rings - so gearbox rebuild?

It's not a flat shift sequential. You use the clutch on up and down shifts. Push the selector forward and you change down a gear, pull it backwards and you up shift.

Sorry to hear you had probelms - this is a serious bit of kit -
who fitted your system ?
the sequential shifter we have fitted is great and works fine absolutely no problems on a 997 GT3 RS
we imported the system from Germany - made by SQS and marketed and fitted in the UK by Jon Oakley
would be very interested to know what you had fitted
best regards

thanks for coming back - doesn't sound right though ?

did Jon Oakley fit your system then ?

was it the GENUINE SQS system ?
as if it was - your unit failure must be a first ?? !!

there have been 100's of the GENUINE SQS units fitted and still in use
mainly in the USA

Anyway, hope you got a full refund from whoever fitted it !
