964 Agreed Value
Discussion
Bought my 964 a few months back, for what I think was below market value. Just put another couple of grand into it to get the paint perfect, service and a few niggles sorted. So just wondering what people think its worth, as thinking I should put an agreed value on my insurance. It's a 1990 c4 coupe manual, 87k miles and full history (every year from new). Standard apart from cup 1's and coilovers. Had a look at the classifieds and prices seem all over which doesn't help.

Very smart, I would do some research via both dealers and private sales. Decide on a value that it would cost you to replace on a like-for-like basis. Just be realisic and not over the top.
Many `classic` policies allow you to insure the car up to that value. The policy will increase slightly, the higher the value you put on it. With mine I tell them its value, return an itemised condition form each year, along with the current mileage and its that simple. I think that its worth doing as you get that little extra piece of mind.
I dont know the 964 C4 market, but there are many on here (and on other specialist sites) that are happy to guess values form a single photograph, but personally if you want an accurate valuation take it to a specialist...

Cheers! The guy I bought it from had done a pretty bad job of advertising it plus it needed a few jobs sorting so it was a bit of a steal. Revolution at brighouse did all the work, however don't trade cars so couldn't help with a valuation. Was thinking of joining the pcgb so might be an incentive.
As for enjoying it, it's completely different to my previous Tuscan! More civilised and the key is the back seats, so hoping it'll cover more than the 800 miles pa than the Tuscan used to!

Both PCGB and TIPEC can give you an agreed valuation for insurance. PM me if you want to join TIPEC, and I'll do it over the phone for you if you want. Great looking car, congratulations and welcome to Porsche ownership. I'm sure you'll enjoy it

Most of the time the A/C in these cars never works sufficiently enough to make a real difference. I'd not get hung up on that
I can attest to this as fact
Interesting, 964's like any other 911's are priced much more aggressive in the UK than on the continent. A good 964 with history and reasonable km's, will be at least 33 - 35k Euros over here. If you go for perfect and modest Km's, you are well into 40k+ land and can head towards high 40k.
Congrats, nice 964 and you picked the fastest color ;-)

i would put your car at £20-22k. Cars like yours in immaculate condition are few and far between so are highly sort after.
