....seen yesterday near Farnham.

I say to you Sir, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Primrose Yellow may have looked OK on a E-Type, but Norfolk Mustard (as in the Lotus colour) is a little OTT on a Jagwaaar.

I assume this must have been a special order colour. Hope he intends to keep the car for life!

I agree that the Jaguar sounds hideous, what was he thinking? Anyway I once saw a Lotus Elise that was plain white and it was horrid! Looked like the factory had forgotten to paint it, quite simply the most awful thing imaginable. I would have hated to have seen it dirty as well!

i saw a dirty, white elise once, and i liked it.
There, i said it. This has, or course, nothing to do with the fact that my dream 325i touring turned out to be white.
Anyway, white's not even a colour. So that decides it

But wait for it, we have a WHITE Audi TT that trundles through our village quite often. We also have the whole bloody range as well, a blue one,a silver one and that black too – the only one I haven't seen yet through our place is the green ... oh, edited to say haven't seen a grey one yet.

But WHITE, come on ...

Then again, I saw a dark blue Cavalier with black rear lights and orange wheels yesterday ...

It had a 12' aerial on the n/s rear wing and an England flag on the o/s rear window. ANd one of those louvred horizontal slatted plastic things over the rear window.

I saw a gold Saxo with gold alloys (a la Clio Williams), yesterday, looked like an apprentice pimp's car. He'll no doubt get around to the gold wheel-arch extensions when he's got a few more girls.

I think the same when I see some old woman driving a custard yellow Porsche Boxster round near me.

If you are going to pay that much on a car why choose an awful colour? Or do these people think that everyone is looking at them admiring their cars - when infact everyone is looking at them because they are thinking "Why did you choose that colour you loser?"

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but when Mclaren were taking orders for F1s they were available in any colour the customer wanted. They actually made a brown one for a customer. I've seen pictures of it and it looks like the fastest turd in the world!
