Looks like a good event that. Very cheap price. Admittedly only 6 x 15min sessions during the day, so not loads of track time, but so long as they keep the groups small it sounds like a good first event for those dipping toes in tracking.
I won't be there as I'm not a novice, nor a TVR owner, but looks like a good event for those it's aimed at.

Looks like very good value, but I wonder if our S's would fail the noise test?
105dB(A) static & 92dB(A) drive-by could be a bit marginal. Anyone failed this?
Also note that a full face helmet is required, although it says they can be hired at the venue. Probably to hide our ugly mugs.
It would also need a very early morning start to get there for 7:30 briefing, or finding local accomodation.
I'm fairly hardy, but I don't fancy camping in Norfolk in February.
There's some funny people about in those parts;)
Do we need roll cages in our S's?
I'm very tempted, and that bottom RH picture looks very reminiscent of Eau Rouge.

There's always two drivers in the car whenever I take the missus out, so I'm used to that.could use your car for the track day and

How many laps/cases of beer for the room rental?
This room - has it got a solid floor or wood? I need to know what sort of tent pegs to bring.
I would very much like to hear from anyone on here who has had their S sound tested, and what figures were recorded.
I remember at S Club a few years ago at Newark there was a competition to find the loudest S, but I have no idea what the results were.
I'd be disappointed to book the track day & find myself barred for loudness.
( Or the car! )
How strict are they at Snetterton?
Also what happens in the event of thick fog or deep snow?
I presume we get a refund or an alternative date?
I really want to do this

Glen - as posted above. My V8 was tested in a sound off at a wlitshire tvr club do and recorded 126, but its a stainless system. Personally I'd suggest its on the high side even for a V8. The bible is likely the best guide.
Thanks Deeman, I noted your earlier response, and knowing yours is a V8S, I just wondered if anyone has figures for a V6 ( with a stainless system ).
126
stainless V8 here too! The noise has been putting me off doing a track day for too long now,Im just going to buy some silencers and hope for the best.Gotta hope for the best on the weather also. And yes you do get either money back or a different session if called off due to weather, not sure which one you get back but you definately do not just loose your money as I might do for being too loud! Might be some silencers going cheap in feb! Any more coming?

Tempted, but...... Seriously early start or Hotel night before and weather that time of year could obviously be pretty rubbish, not bad enough to cancel it maybe but enough to spoil the fun ?Later in the year (yeah I know, could still be wet)I'd like to have a go.
Any feed back from those who do go on noise levels, how they are measured and how strictly they are enforced would be appreciated.
