Guitar Chords Help Me

Hi guys i have been playing the guitar for about two months now. I can play basslines and rhythms such as
Fools Gold
Made Of Stone
Champagne Supernova
Then
When it comes to chords i know how to play wonderwall but when i play it no matter where i position my fingers my strings generate this buzzing sound which is really annoying and completely ruins it.

t to you experts. Yup, keep smashing away at them and your fingers will get stronger and the dexterity will improve.
Also, check where you're putting your fingers on the fret, a lot of newbies generally position them too high up the fret (as in, too near the headstock end of the fret), or try and push them so hard they'll leave dents
Doesn't mean to say it's not a setup issue though, but if you're new to guitar you're far better off taking it to a shop with a someone knowledgeable and picking their brains - don't worry about asking silly questions either.

Not pressing hard enough, or pressing on the fret. It takes a while to get your fingers used to being in a position where it wont buzz, it'll come though.
Where abouts is your thumb in relation to all this? I'm a thumb upper when playing chords, it moves to 3/4 of the way up when playing anything involving playing notes

What sort of guitar is it i.e. acoustic, solid electric through an amp, electric not through an amp? Has anyone else who can play heard you play, has anyone who can play tried your guitar?
Reason I ask is in certain situations there will always be some buzzing.
Taking your guitar to an expert repairer is a good idea, guys who do this stuff all the time will have a good idea of what to expect from any given guitar, and, if it's not delivering, how to set it up so that it does.

What was it that you didn't like about the videos?But in any case, you really need a teacher, because the best progress is mane when someone is watching and listening to what you are doing, and can put you right when needed.

I think i am going to get a teacher though!
Hopefully it's just an issue of technique. Now that you've noticed the problem, you'll likely iron out your technique to sort it. A teacher can help but is not essential - plenty of people are self-taught and have put the same issues behind them.
Just keep at it and don't be hard on yourself, just enjoy it and you'll improve with no effort at all.
