Thought I would share this with you. A couple of mates and I had planned to drive to Monaco for the Classic back in May taking the scenic route via Switzerland and Italy. We shelved that when it became clear that we couldn't guarantee snow free passes (flew there instead). The trip was rescheduled and we departed for a ten day round-trip at the end of August. Stuck a Gopro to the windscreen then edited the footage when I got home.

This is only the first of three parts taking in Reims, the Porsche Museum, Stelvio, San Bernardino and Nufenen passes. I'll put parts two and three up when I get them into youtube.

Enjoy Part One...

Fabulous stuff, really makes me look forward to my trip even more despite me not thinking that would be possible. All of Reims, the Porsche Museum, Stelvio, and Nufenen passes are on my itinerary along with Furka, Col de Turini, Col de la Bonette, Col de I'lseran, Grand St Bernard and some of the D500 through the Black Forest among a number of other routes.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Here's part two... including petit san bernard, col de la madeleine, col du galibier, col de la bonette, and col de turini.

Nice trip. Done most of those roads. Good to see our stickers (Tour of the Alps 2010+2012) are still in the window at the top of the Turini. Not a lot of tail wagging apparent though...

Fair point on the tail wagging. Call it erring on the side of caution where lack of experience + (sheer drop or cliff face) = lack of kahunas.

Fair enough. The roads feel a lot wider from the seat of a kit car and you can be a lot more daring when they cost so much less. I find it'sbetternot to look at or consider the drop though; Seeing them on film later, they're a bit suprising. It was like threading the needle going hard up the 'Turini... epic fun though.

Shed, great videos. Really liked the music. I know how much times it takes to review footage and edit together. I just posted a movie of our trip to Slovenia.

I enjoyed making them as a memento of the trip. When you get home after seeing so much it's too easy to forget where you've been! Plus I had so many hours of footage that, on their own, make for pretty dull viewing!

In response to the iPad questions, apparently this has something to do with copyright and YouTube, not anything i can change unfortunately.

I used BMW route finder, give me some time to copy them and I'll share them when I can...

Honestly, I've tried. It's a syndication setting which youtube won't change because there is copyrighted music in the vids.
