Hi all,

I have a problem with my Noble M12 GTO. I keep it around my fathers house. Unfortunately he has a Westfield with the same fuel filler cap as the Noble, He lost his and used mine and forgot to replace it or to tell me.

So the day I tried to go out on a dry Sunday it didn't start. On later inspection I noticed the filler cap missing so its had about a months worth of rain and leaves in the tank, I have drained the tank the best I can but it will still not start.

Has anyone any ideas

Regards

Phil

eek

Hi Phil, i wouldn't try starting it up again. Perhaps the fuel filter is clogged and maybe the injectors too. I wouldn't try starting it up again, if i were you get it over to Jetstream or someone.

I have a spare fuel tank if you wish to swop... I suspect you cant get all the crap out of it.

You will also need a new filter, I also have one of these on the shelf but unlike the tank Id want something for it lol.

Drop the tank out the bottom and clean , flush thoroughly , change filter , flush pump with petrol , strip and clean fuel rail , get injectors cleaned and checked , take out plugs and squirt in some oil as there might be water in the bores and this could rust whole she is standing !!!!
