Water Temperature 118!!!!

Driving to work tonight I was flicking through the display modes and noticed water temp was reading 118 and oil 95. Both engine fans were going and no steam was coming from the expansion tank. I am assuming it is a problem with the sensor (my oil pressure sensor is also up the duff as oil pressure "drops" when accelerating hard). Has anyone had this problem before?
