Aluminium trim pics

At some stage Ill get round to doing a proper car and Xpel Ultimate film write up (my 981S was fully covered by Paintshield from new) but for now here are some pics of the aluminium trim. Couldnt find any when I was speccing mine so thought these might help prospective buyers.

Strangely when I used my camera they were rubbish so these are iPhone pics which seem to show the finish a bit better, not great but thats as good as I could manage. The one of the door probably shows it best. It isnt shiny, its more of a matt finish with a grain in it. Very nice in person.

Looks good. I think the photo of the trim on the glove box shows the grain well. Also those interior shots are starting to make me think I should have gone for full leather interior Ah well, too late now

always liked ali trim in 986/996 - really lifts a dark interior

seemed less important in 987/997 as ali bits were standard

is it proper ali or just cheap painted plastic?

I think its proper aluminium. Materials they have now are so good though its hard to tell.
