Never had a legacy but thinking about a 2006 spec b legacy estate or impreza turbo sl, had impreza before and it was great in the snow.

Have to do longer journey ps now and thinking about one of the above for the bad weather, any advice

Both great in the snow, Legacy more comfortable/luxurious if thats a factor for longer trips.

Agree with trying a Forester. My S/Tb was tested for the first time today (well, by me anyway...) on ice and felt more "sure-footed" than my Discovery. Like the look of the Legacy too.... smile

Instant power from that fabuolus H6 engine, and with the traction control
off,you can go sideways pretty much all the timebiggrin

If doing long trips the legacy is more economical on a run. The one with the most appropriate tyres will be best in the snow.
