Tonight I am planning on creating the ultimate fish finger sandwich, using some of the Captains finest breaded fingers of cod. What ingredients would you add in to make the ultimate fish finger sandwich? So far I've tried potato waffles and egg, both worked well. Any other suggestions?

2 slices of fresh, sliced, white bread.

Spread one with mayonnaise the other with ketchup.

Fill with 4 or 5 fish fingers and a slice of processed cheese.

Shameful but tasty!

ISTR this was done on here a few years ago - I've been doing white bread, 1 slice ketchup, 1 slice salad cream or mayo, and a little bit of rocket if I'm feeling posh (= having a date round wink ) ever since!!!

I like my bread to be thick cut, white, lightly toasted with butter and pepper.

2 white slices, lashings of butter, mushy peas an brown sauce.

This is from the o/h.

For me it's just bread, butter and ketchup.
