This has alway been a favourite website but they've really done it this time...

www.iwantoneofthose.com/CGIBIN/PRIAMLNK.CGI?CNO=1&MP=PRDUPD^GIN132&STNO=ST00175&WHAT=info

You'll probably have to cut and paste the link rather than click on it 'cos the '^' character seems to upset the PH web software

I was flicking through the MAPLIN catalogue yesterday, idly wondering whether it was possible to produce an electro-magnetic pulse that would disable all electronic equipment within a local area without setting off a nuclear device, when I stumbled across the r/c cars...

Lotus Elise Sport, 1/6 scale 2.1BHP @ 30000RPM, 940bhp/ton, 0-60mph in 1.5 sec. 370 quid. p679.

Looks like a giggle.

Knew a few people who were certainly very well off, but not obsenely so. They flew Albatros and Delphins, both popular cheap and cheerful ex-military jets for the enthusiast. Also knew a bloke who bought a few Hunters "coz they were going cheap". He couldn't afford to start their engines however. It's a bit like buying a second hand sports car insofar as the up front price is bugger all, but the running costs are absolutely extortionate.

Is this part of some grand scheme for world domination?

IIRC they're available in badly guarded research centres near Las Vegas, They fit in the back of a van and come complete with their own power supply. Remember to leave Matt Damon in the back of the van when attempting to steal said item.

let's see if they publish my little stratagem

I used mine to break speed cameras and wind plod up.

Then I lent it to my brother And he crashed it into some building in New York.
Oh and a PH R/C Car championship sounds like a top idea. Regional play offs followed by a national meet.

Not a chance! I can imagine the scene when it gets read though. Either absolute hysterics or gasps of horror and disgust.

Mmm, is that the same as the one that parked up on the M11 the other week, after the pilot ejected and killed himself in the process?
