Where in Southampton for Christmas tree?
Discussion
Approaching the annual trip out to select the Christmas tree. Usually end up in B&Q paying a fair bit for a half decent tree, but wondering where else I could go, particularly if it means supporting local businesses.
Does anyone have any recommendations of independant places in the Soton area with a good selection?

Strawberry Fields, in between Brockenhurst and Lymington. They grow them in a field all year and then sell them from a shack in the winter. It's where they have the car boot sale. Have a little drive round the forest whilst you're here, it's pretty at this time of year. Does anyone have any recommendations of independant places in the Soton area with a good selection?

Otherwise all the garden centres will have them.
I personally don't see the point in growing a tree and then cutting it down whilst it's still young, having it in your house for 20 days and then throwing it away!

Every year without fail! Turn right as you get out of Ashurst down Woodlands Road, then turn right down Fletchwood Lane, they'll be loads of cars parked around there and it's signposted/
