Hi

Long shot as I've tried everywhere else
A few weeks ago I finally got caught out by my 930 in the wet, big old tank slapper coming off a roundabout, not enough room to correct it on the flip and smacked the kerb, destroying the very nice rear Ruf alloy wheel (amongst other things).

Of course Ruf don't make this wheel anymore and I'm having real problems locating anyone who might have one or a set that they want to sell.

The details are
17 x 10 AH E=5
The part number might be R11 362 119 01 (but I think that's the front wheel) It has a polished rim as well.

Pic at www.webheads.co.uk/930.jpg (happier days)

Anyone that can help me locate a wheel will be my best friend and no doubt a little richer !

Email me at jm@webheads.co.uk

Bugger - that is bad luck, and a real long shot trying to get hold of just one rear. Someone may have a set for sale s/h if they are no longer made, but just the one is tricky. Lovely looking wheel as well. I will keep an eye out, but is the original completely shot and past refurbishment? Some clever alloy wheel company could probably bond a new rim to the old centre...

PS Alternative is to get a set of Turbo 2 speedlines or 993RS split rims I suppose, as they look just as good IMHO. Scottster, a forum member, recently got a set of 993RS splitrims for 550 GBP without rubber, rear was 17 inch in a turbo offset. He is even thinking of ditching the rear rims and keeping the centres as the offset is too great, so if you need some polished rims and my suggestion above is feasible, get in touch and I'll mention it to him.

cheers I hadn't but just tried and they don't.

I thinking that it's a bit of a lost cause and I might have to bite the bullet and find something new for all 4 corners !

cheers
