Word has it the GT3 and Turbo will have RWS.

Could someone with racing experience kindly state the benefit of the latest rear wheel steering technology please?

This is what Schumacher thought 20 years ago:

It feels very good, but actually it doesn’t change things a lot. I am using the same lines and there isn’t a lot of movement at the rear. It makes it a little easier, but right now the system doesn’t work very well in the slow corners, so we might not use it in Adelaide.

Haha, a gt3 forklift!

The race 991 gt3 is going to keep the metzger, does this mean the road cars have to use it too?

Sorry but I've missed where it was said that cups would have Mezger engines?

It's been posted on Rennteam... If true the 4.0 is no longer the swan song.

The Mezger in all sizes is fully homologated. Porsche can run them in motorsport legally for 8 years from the point they cease to be used in any road going car (ie from the point 9A1 is used in the GT3)

Cups have no homologation rules to meet btw. Porsche can do with them whatever they please more or less just as Ferrari can with the challenge cars

IIRC, both cup and RSR will run the Mezger next year (3.8 & 4.0L respectively). GT3 will be......
