Exhaust overhaul .

well after getting chucked of Silverstone i decided to remove and strip the exhaust system and re-pack ect , Thanks to GTO600 and AW for there advice and Merlin Motorsport for sending me the correct stuff .

here is what she looked like before :




as you can see in a state , once i stripped the boxes out they were repacked with Basalt Titanium silencer packing , then i decided to wrapp all the boxes and pipes to keep the heat in !! 50m in total used .
i also managed to fit my new turbo blankets as well .
also made some carbon panels to cover over the chasis rails as well .




sounds alot quieter and definately looks better !!!

Hi Simon - carbon gonna be ok so close to exhaust?? They still get mighty hot evev with exhaust wrap.

Should be mate used very high temp resin . saved some weight on the alloy ones that were there

Looks good Tux, should be a lot cooler now aswell as quieter.
