OK, when I say chased, it was a rather one sided battle against an F40, but I was so suprised to see one that I had to follow it!!!

I was directly behind it in heavy traffic, but when the traffic parted, the driver floored it and disappeared into the distance, what a noise!!

I was behind again at the next set of traffic lights and it looked and sounded unbelievable!!

I had never seen anything truly special on the roads (been put to its full potential) before this summer.
However I have since seen an XJ220, Lamborghini Diablo and now an F40 being given the full treatment!

Makes you glad to be a PHer!!

If that was Leeds, I think I know the car, it's been out and about a bit of late. Will have words with the owner on driving like a wuss, seeing as you didn't mention the phrase 'fire breathing'

and boy, I would like to see that car again!!

More like a certainty, if you drive around Leeds you'll meet up again for sure. Apparently there was also an F50 in the area, it's looking like the place to catch Ferrari exotica at the moment.

Sure would, but good luck for your next drive, maybe you'll be stuck behind an Enzo

Could this be the F40 that was parked on our estate for over an hour after doing passenger rides ?

If its an estate in Adel then more than likely. The car turned into a side road and I was tempted to follow but the driver must have thought I was a stalker by that point!!!

Passenger rides eh!!! Sounds like a good way to make some people very happy!!

Sounds about right. Might be worth keeping an eye out for a blue Hartmann F40, 720 horses with the boost dial wound up so look while you can. Could soon be back to rosso corsa mind. What is it with Leeds and Ferraris??

Hehe funny you mention this f40, I actually saw this on sunday at the sainsburys roundabout, I was coming down king lane as it was just turning into king lane. It's the first ever f40 i've seen on the road, what a sight

Is it black by any chance? I saw a black one on the M1 on way north from leaving Leeds (Bank holiday weekend just gone).

I'd just picked up my new car from a seller in Leeds and was on my up to Scotland.

It did sound absolutely awesome!
