Pushing the Porsche budget higher and higher...

So, i am getting into dangerous territory here, still not found the pork i want to buy, changed my mind now and i am after a 997, C2S, ideally blue of some variety, sat nav, bose, PSE, just seen this beautiful example at Harbour cars, but its again pushing my budget higher and higher, BUT does have 2 year gold aa warranty, so what i am asking is, in reality whats the warranty worth?

If it was 2 grand, then the car is 27k, and looks quite good at 27 ish, 29k seems very expensive???? If i was looking at a 26k car, then i'd get warranty myself, so 28/9 grand would be about right,

Are Harbour cars any good?

A Porsche warranty is circa 2 grand, and fair value, but you have to own the car 90 days before you're eligible (plus an inspection, full OPC history and no modifications). Any other warranty is worth nothing like this amount. Google should help find out how much the retail price of the AA cover costs, assume the dealer is paying around 2/3rds of that and decide if you want to spend that on it or not, or negotiate to knock off an appropriate amount. Personally I wouldn't bother with the cover you've been offered.
