Really really smashed up Zafira on A27 eastbound just by Sussex Uni today (on the big downhill left hander), does anyone know the story behind it? Lots of police around it including a forensics unit

Is this the one that manged to get itself hanging over the edge of the railing, rear wheels in the air?

When i saw it it was on the nearside grass verge, presumably moved there by recovery. The offside of the car was really really wrecked up so sounds like what you said, makes sense as that is quite a sharp left hander and its off camber, its pretty hairy in the wet if your not paying attention.

Travel news this morning said both sides down to 1 lane while barriers being fixed, queues back to Kingston. I guess that was due to this accident.
