They have an all you can eat offer on, or they did a few weeks ago in Leeds. Cost was £19 but all people in your party have to do it.

Do you really want to 'eat all you can' with sushi?!?

I was only thinking the other day how little people seem to go to yo sushi and how bad it was when I went. Strange how companies often set a trend or a create a shift in peoples taste, and become very successful because of it, I.e yo sushi, and then just seem to drift into obscuracy whilst new rivals seem to effortlessly take over, e.g wasabi and wagamama etc

i LOVE yo sushi.

cheers for the super sunday sumo all you can eat offer.

an to the poster above, its not bad food tbh, and is not a bad deal as dishes are small and cost between 2-5 quid.

so [average] 5 dishes and you've covered the all you can eat.

i know i can cover 5 dishes easy.

Yo Sushi are still doing well...and still opening new sites. Wasabi are more of a take away vibe, and their earnivs per cover will be a lot lower than Yo.

Not sure on the Wagamama comparisons either. Last time I was there, they didn't do sushi.

Maybe they could be more aggresive and open a lot more Yo's but on the other hand, they are selective of when and where they open which doesn't oversaturate the market.

Me and a friend (also female) managed 35 the other day, I mention the gender specifically as I did 15 she did 20!!

I couldn't keep up frown

Brilliant food, not so hot on the sashimi myself but love the sushi.

Does anyone else find the quality variable with Yo?

I've been to the Market Place restaurant several times, and the tuna sashimi is a glistening, vibrant pink and beautifully fresh. The same dish in Sheffield is dull, and starting to lose its pinkness. You also get food that appears to be not terribly fresh...

The service between the two is also very much in line with the quality of the dishes.

I absolutely adore Yo Sushi

10 dishes is usually my benchmark though, and people call me a fat bcensoredd for that. I can't imaging tucking away 15 or 20 plates!

Tuna sashimi is my favourite. Mmmmmmmmmm. lick

I love yo sushi, not all of the branches near me do the sunday all you can eat. Wasabi do some great takeaway pots, reasonably priced and very filling. I'm not too fussed on wagamamma, been to a few and it seems to be consistently mediocre.

Love sushi but never been to a yo sushi. Saw this report when it came out in, apparently in 2008, and decided they weren't for me:

1/3 of their restaurants not meeting hygiene standards + raw fish is a very bad idea!

There is a bloke who goes to the one in the Trafford Centre and his record is 62 dishes, I kid you not.
