Larder Fridge Sizes
Discussion
Hi. I'm trying to find a larder fridge for my wife. For various reasons, each shelf needs to be at least 540mm wide. I'm having trouble finding internal dimensions online. Can anyone recommend a suitably-sized (tall) larder fridge, or a site where I can comparison-shop internal dimensions? Thanks!
We have one of these http://www.beko.co.uk/Item/GNE114610AP#features which has full-width shelves going all the way across - must be 800mm or so I guess. Looks good in the kitchen and, er, keeps stuff cold. Which is all you can ask from a fridge really.
I can't believe I've start posting about domestic appliances. Shoot me now.

It's ok, your credibility remains intact, because that isn't a larder fridge. It's an American style fridge-freezer. A larder fridge is a normal fridge but without a freezer compartment.I can't believe I've start posting about domestic appliances. Shoot me now.

Thanks. As said, it isn't quite what I'm after - double doors are fine, but I need a full-height fridge only. But I'll def bear that in mind for other needs.I can't believe I've start posting about domestic appliances. Shoot me now.
This one is 600mm wide, so I would expect the shelves could be around 540mm wide?

For various (very boring reasons) I have also had to hunt down fridges and freezers with exact / minimum internal dimensions.
I've put a fair amount of effort into this - hotpoint future, meile and tefcold industrial all offer good internal dims on their freezers (got the miele larder fridge. its big, nice, but has an appetite for temperature probes)
The only reliable way I found was to actually go measure them myself! Other peoples measurements (even manufacturers) are not seemingly very useful for this kind of thing.
Would recommend the tefcold stuff to be honest, if you don't mind the industrial look.

Any Gastronorm 1/1 fridge will do... not domestic but big enough.

I have an Electrolux semi-domestic fridge at work that also just fits 540 width ways that was a lot less £, I can check the model if you like.

A model would be great; the commercial stuff is great, but rather £overkill for the level of intended use. Thank you.http://www.nisbets.co.uk/Polar-Single-Door-Gastro-...

They're cooking pans are worth grabbing when on offer. Black iron frying pans for £5-6 sometimes. I'm just putting in another order for some stuff thats cheap at the moment.
Pays to shop around on stuff and with Nisbets they have various prices, sometimes the online price is different to the catalogue which is different to what their telesales quote.
