So i am looking at this rather nice looking Seal Grey C4S cab from RSJ tomorrow, and i wondered if it was anyone's from here? Traded in for a 996 Turbo i believe!?

Being a total Porsche newbie, any info on this, peoples opinions on this car would be appreciated.

I have read that RSJ are a top outfit, and their cars are very well prepared, and it also has a 1yr warranty, so that's some piece of mind, quite excited about seeing this one, as it's ticking most of the boxes so far on paper!

thanks

I'd be looking into its history with the previous owner more closely.

Mind you I got in touch with someone on here ref an SSE I once owned. He wasn't too interested in its interesting past, and I couldn't really blame him.
He'd already bought it. whistle

Erm, ok,, not entirely sure what's being implied here, really after any info regarding it, haven't bought it, but I am interested in it,!

Have seen on 911uk the car had an engine rebuild by RSJ across 3 bores, due to bore scoring within the 3 month initial warranty period, engine rebuild would have a warranty on it therefore...

Am I correct in assuming, this eliminates the possible future bore scoring issue, in pistons 4,5 and 6?

Other than that all I can tell from the previous owner was it had some issue with a rad, and possible excess oil consumption,

Anything else I should be aware of?

For not much more money mine is newer has less miles and Porsche warranty really can't understand your thinking Dan. I know I'm not local to you but I'm worth the trip. I know the RSJ car it belonged to a friend of mine. I'm sure if you ask on 911 he'll tell you all about it.

Can't say I get the point of posts like this.

If you have something to say, great, if not - why give a response like this?

I've never been to RSJ but I've noticed their cars are a little pricier than average but maybe that's the price you pay for their warranty. I have to say this car is an ideal spec: Seal grey, black leather, PSE, Nav and the sports seats.

I've seen a few posts around claiming cars over priced etc.

I cant say I found that TBH. Mine was sold at the going rate for the mileage on it.
I also got the same trade in price as I'd been offered elsewhere so cant complain.

The car was prepped to a high standard & at a glance I reckon the front & rear PU had been sprayed, also the wheels had been re-furbed.

All in all it took very little to bring the paint up to the mirror finish it is now (I am anal about detailing)

There were a few minor issues which were dealt with by Joel with absolutely no quibbles.

I would definitely recommend them to deal with any day of the week.
