996 turbo mod

Can anyone tell me where the thread is which i read on here about the 996 turbo exhaust mod .
Think i read that you drill two holes just before the silencers for a better sound.

I'm thinking about it,just abit worried if opc picked it up to void my Porsche warranty, might take the gamble though.I suppose I could buy another second hand one so if anything did go wrong i could swap it over.Are these exhausts easy to change over? Rob.

I always thought my 2000 996 turbo sounded great.

People have said that they are too quiet with the standard exhaust.

While re attaching my rear number plate after the sticky pads failed I had a look at the exhaust and a previous owner had already done this mod, hence it sounding great.

Well worth doing for what it costs.
