I amongst many have been very anti this election, however, it's not going to go away, so rather than abstain, I guess a vote for the only person on the list who has any qualifications to do the job is the right democratic decision, http://www.choosemypcc.org.uk/

I tend to agree. Politics should be kept well and truly out of Policing. The Police force has to be INDEPENDENT and NON COMMERCIAL

Local labour candidate here made a big thing about standing but not making it political, then you turned over the page and there was a list of the Tories haven't done this, they haven't done that they yadda yadda yadda - so she did make it political and her flyer went in the bin.

I haven't a clue who any of them are...so how am I supposed to know who to vote for? Amongst browsing PH and working, I have no time to research these people (who frankly just seem to slag each other off, rather than explain what they'll actually be doing).

Same here - both our voting slips went in the bin.

I won't be voting as I think the whole idea is a waste of effort. Since there isn't going to be a "please retain the current system" option on the polling card, not voting is the only way I have of communicating my sentiment.

Trouble is, do you think they are going to look through the list of non voters and drop you a line asking why you did not vote, dare I say but the independent candidate Simon Hayes to me seems the only sensible option.

So I followed the link and my local ones came up, how do they know where I am?

I think the only way to get the message across to Parliament that we don't want nor trust the politicians is to all vote for the independent guys.

I was in 2 minds but I read the profiles and chose the guy who was on about tkaing a no nonsense approach as opposed to the others who were bleating on about neighbourhood policing.

Of course they won't, but not voting remains the only conscienceable option available to people who believe they shouldn't be voting for Police comissioners.

I'm going to vote for the tall man with shorts legs, he's clean shaven with a moustache, blond guy, jet black hair.

In other words, I shall be resting my feet and not walking up to vote.
