Has anyone "downgraded" DSLRs?
Discussion
I'm seriously considering selling 60D and instead of buying a 6D, getting a 650D as a travel body and a 5D MkII for studio and more serious work.
I've started my DSLR history from 450D which I still think is a great little camera, so should feel at home with 650D. Anyone has chosen similar option?

I regularly use a 600D over a 5D mk2. Obviously the pictures won't be quite as good but if size, weight, crop factor, fold out screen, cheaper body (ie higher chance of sustaining damage) etc are likely to be an advantage then I leave the 5D at home.
It's probably better looking at it the other way round. For pictures for personal use I only take the 5D When there is a definite advantage in having it. That generally means that either I need the high ISO noise performance or the full frame sensor. Paid work is obviously different though.
