What would your ideal camera be?

There was a thread on the DPReview website recently where I thought the responses were mainly unimaginative. My contribution was very OTT so I will wait before I put a refined version here.

So what would your ideal camera be?

One where every picture was in focus. Well to be honest I would be happy with 15%.

Very easy to answer this one, a cheaper Fuji X-pro but with better lag and jitter free EVF, continuous AF, buffering, speed etc. like a competitive sporty DSLR (7d/d300s) and the lenses to match which means all those already promised to be class leading.

Such a camera and system might actually happen in the next few years, who knows.

about £50-60k probably, pretty pointless unless you absolutely need the instant digital files, You will get equal or better resolution
with a 5x4 camera and a drum scanner for the film for a fraction of that cost.

This for me too. I have an X100 (I'm assuming fairly similar to the X-Pro but with a fixed lens). If the AF were better and a few other tweaks, I'd have no need for a DSLR.

Or a touchscreen digital back for my canon lenses, something like the EOS M with a FF sensor.
