I was wondering if anyone here has, or knows of anyone who has used this dealer? They dont specialise in Porsche, but have quite a good selection of premium vehicles.

Any experience greatly appreciated.

Would you buy a £53k Porsche without being allowed to take it for a test drive ? Reason - the test drive might take it over 10,000 miles. I wish they'd told me that before I drove for two hours to view the car. Not impressed - I think they lost a sale.

Had this nonsense myself on a GT3 - won't even consider that supplier again, no matter how good their reputation with the GT-models.

Wow, it didn't seem that way when I spoke to them, but a test drive wasn't mentioned and I guess I would have go the same answer.

You viewed that specific turbo then? What was your response when they refused a test drive? I dont see any reason why the car would be a duff, but its a hell of a lot of money.

Turbo looked immaculate, but I've never driven one, hence why I certainly had to have a test drive. Service history not perfect, 1 Porsche main dealer, 1 independant, plugs not changed at 4 years, they did say they would have it serviced at Porsche Solihull if I bought it, which was of some comfort. I can understand the 10k mileage issue, but I wouldn't buy without a test drive, maybe I'm missing out on a good car.
