Well a year next week I started Mountain Biking this was my first competition as such as a pair, doing it as a four this year purely as there was so much interest at work, anyone else taking part?

Cheers Pablo, your's and Matt ITR's advice was very useful last year reference bike purchase and kit.

I'll be using my Anthem this time but taking the second hand Specialized with me in case, kept my ice tyres as well so saves forking out for them.

Training begins tomorrow night.

Suspiciously military initials, so forgive me if I read it wrong. Massive coincidence that the initial letters of your kids' names are exactly the same as the initials of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps. Even bigger coincidence that you randomly put them in exactly the same order. The 'Bronzed Body' reference you would understand if you were military. It's a little dig us mere mortals use against those members of our profession who spend their entire lives downing protein shakes, 'bulking up' in the free weights room, or basting themselves in oil to get a mahogany tan. I suspect some of them enjoy the show tunes a wee bit too much, judging by their tight white vests and the quantity of 'beauty products' in their lockers
