Wondered if anyone would be up for another blatt around the Peaks sometime soon? Same sort of deal as the one we did in Feb, meet somewhere, drive around, get lost, split into at least 2 groups and end up a a different pub for lunch than the one I'd thought of..

I'm thinking of sometime either the weekend of the 18th/19thSept or 2nd/3rd Oct. Anyone interested? Haven't got a route in mind, but if noone else has ideas I'll think of something like the last one. Alternatively, if anyone knows a route further south, feel free to suggest one.

If we get some interest, we could open it up to whichever other regional group is closest..

Do tell..

I'm currently trying to arrange somewhere sunny for a while too, hence the gap in the potential dates. Feel the need for a rest before the next challenge If the paperwork ever comes through that it..

Right, early Oct it is then..

I'll dig out the old spreadsheet and start adding names..

Got the job then Simon? Celebration time no doubt .

19th September clashes with the Croft track day (that has so far met with a bit of apathy unfortunately), but you may lose one or two to that.

Better idea would be for everybody to pootle up to Croft on the 19th, then use the October date for us all to attend the run .

the planned Lakes Invasion trip had to be postponed due to me not able to plan it (had an operation and can't drive) but the plan is to put in on around the middle to the end of October...

:sigh: I can't, I'm too ashamed.

Lets say the car is a series of compromises, if the plan comes together then I'll confess next week. Until then I'm saying nothing
Did you hear that Mrs Fish I'm saying....NOTHING!!!!

Eeek. Hope you recover soon. Just think of the Optimax you'll be saving..

I'm sure you could get a lift with someone.. If the Lakes is already a bit further ahead in the planning I'll defer the peaks.. Not taken the S to the lakes before, would be a nice blatt I'm sure..

Don't worry, an MX5 is still a very capable car.. We'll still talk to you.. Not that you will be able to hear us over our exhausts.. Or keep up..

Surely the only car which would cause a former TVR owner to become ashamed would be a Boxster ?

If only it was an MX-5. Hopefully I should still be able to participate, it was an essential part of the selection criteria.

Would be interested as I couldn't make the February run.

Can't do the 2nd but any of the others works for me

Give us a clue Jo, a week is too long to keep the identity of the new chariot under wraps....its killing me already!

Can you disclose even just the nationality of the new mobile?.....please

Would up for the peaks run too.

Best Regards

MOD.

I'd be up for that. I live on the edge of the Peak District so a local run would make a nice change. Any date would be OK for me, as long as its not within the next 2 weeks as the Chim is in TVR Power for a rebuild and a couple of tweaks.

Good point..

How about either 10th or 17th Oct?

Basic plan, meet, drive around, stop for photos, possibly stop for tea and sticky buns, defniately stop for lunch.

Anyone want to flesh this out a little more?
