How do you carry the VTS fob?

The plastic casing it comes with is hideous and big.

Any one found a small and neat leather pouch for it that you can attach to the key ring?

Porsche sell one - it's a bit large.
I haven't found anything suitable yet so my VTS fob lives in my pocket.

Strange, as the key and the VTS fob are supposed to be kept separate

I've got PVTS on mine but as it doesn't benefit me from an insurance perspective I've not taken up the subscription. Is it essential on the GT3?

Side pocket of my Oyster card holder. Fits perfect and I never leave the house without it whether I'm taking the car or not.

Less relevant / usefull if you don't live in London however.

does not having the fob on your keys or in the car defeat the whole point?

Yes, I've never got that either and the OPCs demo cars (Siverstone at least) have the keys with the fob pouch attached. I think even if someone steals your car with both the keys and fob in hand then the car can still be traced using the tracker but, of course, only if you raise the alarm...

Best thing I`ve found is :

I had a leather pouch thing on a loan car - disgusting and unwieldy.
