Tasting Menu in and around London?
Discussion
I'm looking for somewhere for myself and my group of firends to go for a Xmas meal and drinks, but am ideally after a decent tasting menu, as most of them have never experienced anything like that at all. I'd like it to be somewhere that they can all experience top quality food, and that we can spend a good 3 hours + enjoying with at least 6-7 courses really.
I've been to The Ledbuy before, and it was amazing, but i think that's a bit too expensive for what i'm after. Ideally i'd like to keep it under £80 per person (for the actual menu, i'm aware costs will run well over this!)
Anyone got any recommendations? I've looked at Pied a Terre, any thoughts?

I went here http://www.closmaggiore.com/media/25397/clos%20mag... for that, and had matching wines too, it wasn't cheap, but it was for a special occasion I suppose. The food was fantastic, the service was great too, and it felt like a real personal service when being told about each course and why the wine they were serving with it worked.

+1 for Clos Maggiore. Superb
Ask to be sat in the courtyard. You'll see why when you get there.
