MSN cars say the Noble M12 is "one of the scariest cars they have ever driven"

MSN said:
The Noble M12 GTO would give you the heebie jeebies on sight alone with that racing car-esque spoiler. In fact, driven with respect, the M12 was a sublime machine with masses of lateral grip and horizon-destroying acceleration. I drove it eight years ago for a a car magazine. My driving partner at the time was a sub-editor more used to writing headlines than wringing out supercars. He was ON IT from the moment he belted into the four-point harness. I’m not a nervous passenger, but I was on this occasion: he was driving in his socks as his feet were too large for the pedals. ID

I cant work out if this is a back-handed compliment about the car, or a comment to say how much of a w@nker the driver was.

I've never felt scared driving the Noble whether on track or on the road. Just because his mate with ridiculously large feet cant drive, and he's a nervous passenger, i dont think that gives grounds for such comments.

If you read their comments about the 4 cars (CSL, Tuscan, Aston and Noble), it basically says they drive beyond their capabilities. And those are the type of people we shouldnt have on the road.

I shall mention this fact in my "speed awareness course" tonight. That should incite some interesting discussion.......

Indeed, it very much sounds like his cocky mate got in a car he couldn't handle and quickly scared the both of them. Scariest circumstances rather than scariest cars.

Wasn't that a Roush car at one point? Also read somewhere that it was Mole Valley's demonstrator for a period.
