A mate of mine at work who lives in Essex has a local curry house who have the following as a standard £10 set menu (inc local delivery) available everyday which seems incredible value.

1 chicken tikka starter
1 onion badji starter
Salad
Mint sauce / rahti
1 large pilau rice
1 large chick tikka masala
1 chicken madras
1 veg curry side
1 Bombay potato
1 large plain nann

By all accounts the food is pretty good too! Where I live in Kent it's double the price for a similar meal.

Anyone know of similarly amazing takeaway deals?

Is that just for one person? That must be a 2 person set meal and it's £10 each surely?

Does any ever eat the bloody salad that comes with it? I'm not against it myself but when unpacking a delicious curry, it's not so appetizing to find a bag of warm soggy lettuce :/

I may have on occasion used the salad as part of my ham salad sandwich for work the next day.

Rochester Grill in Kent... from Sunday-Thursday you can get the following :

Any 9" pizza £5, two for £9 (usually up to £6.50 each)
Any 12" pizza £7, two for £13 (usually up to £8.70 each)
Any 15" pizza £8, two for £15 (usually up to £12 each)

Pretty good value I think. Better pizzas than Pizza Hut or Dominos, and much more generous with the toppings!
