Retro team kits

Happy days. I just managed to acquire one of my Xmas presents early from herself. A PDM team kit. Jersey and bib shorts. We were watching a documentary on the tour a while ago and in the old footage I was pointing out the different teams, who rode for them and just happened to mention that the PDM kit is my favourite kit of all time but I'd never been able to get it when I was a nipper.

I'm going to look oh so cool tomorrow on the club ride (provided I can get enough other clothes underneath the kit as its going to be bloody freezing.

PDM were my favourite team back in the early 90s - Kelly, Breukink, Alcala etc.

Let me know how good the bib shorts are as I was thinking of getting some, but there is not enough info on the website for me to part with the £50.( no pic of chamois, or detail etc)

I have a pink Miko Mercier jersey c 1978 on watch that I am waiting for sizing confirmation. Favourite kit ever

Yep, Prendas. Bless her she found it all on her own. Looks like decent quality stuff. The basic brand of the kit is some,thing called "ultima". Looking at their site it looks like decent stuff, not Rapha, assos levels but certainly equivalent to endura et al. I can take a snap of the chamois if you like before they get used :-D.

I've always liked the look of the wool ( acrylic?) tops, but would never risk ordering one as they look SO tight that I think I'd struggle to breathe!

Yeah, was fine and when she bought them herself spoke to them and they seemed confident size was right but were also relaxed about returns if it's wrong. My stuff is large in both and for reference I'm normally proportioned, 5'11" and about 12.5 stone.
